Our co-headling tour with We The Kings went on sale yesterday. I'm sure most of you reading this already knew that. Looking at the first counts I can't help but feel grateful for the dedication and constant support this band gets. We've been doing this now for over six years and while it doesn't seem that far back since we first hit the highway to follow Warped Tour to sell our self released ep, it really has been a long journey. I've seen bands that I thought were going to conquer the world fade away and bands I had never heard of become stadium sell-outs. All along we have stayed steady. Through hardships and what seems like hardly any breaks, compared to some of our peers, I hope we have proven to our fans that we will always be here. We will always make music and always be on the road. To those of you who have been there and supported us from day one I can't thank you enough. To those of you who found us somewhere along the way I warmly welcome you to the ranks of fellow fans of this band. Your support means everything. Whenever I sign something or take a picture I always try and say thank you because I'm the one that should be the most grateful. Without our fans coming to a show to support the band we wouldn't be here. It's funny how much our attitudes have changed since the inception of Mayday. I feel like we have a new found self-reliance and confidence that was lacking during the build up to and throughout the ABH cycle. We really did find ourselves on this new record and I feel like you the listeners can hear it and feel it. When we were younger it was all or nothing, and we went for it, we really played the game. I feel like most bands would have broken up multiple times going through all the crap we went through. We stayed strong and in turn so have you. Now I think we have realized that we just want to play music we love for lovers of our music. Wether it be in small clubs, big venues or giant stadiums. Wether we sell 2k, 20k or 200k records. Wether we are on the front page of the smallest blog, AP or Rolling Stone. What level of success this band gets though is strongly determined by your support. Our journey isn't near over and I sincerely hope all of you will stick with us to see this through. Lets build something beautiful.
