I just arrived in Michigan yesterday.  I'll be spending a lot of the winter break up here.  While I'm sad to leave Florida I'm excited to spend winter in a snowy place.  I'm honestly looking forward to the winter wonderland.  It will be nice to have a long break as I know at the top of February we will start touring to promote our new record.  So far it seems like everyone likes the record.  When ever I'm asked how our fans have reacted to the new album I always think that its too early to tell.  I really feel like we won't know the final verdict so to speak on the album until a year or maybe even two years.  When we first released ALIR it took a while for people to catch on.  It went from a small group of people who loved it to now when I see lyrics from songs tattooed on people.  Looking at ABH you can see how the live response to those songs definitely picked up as time went on from when we released it.  I'm very excited to see how people will look back on the new album later on down the road.  I hope and I think that it will become a classic in our discography.  One reason why I think this is because of what it means for this band.  Since Jason left and since our endeavors on a major label we needed a chance to let our fans see what we were capable of.  It was also a chance for us to see what we could do.  Writing and recording felt very natural and I feel like we were able to find a dynamic that really worked.  Whats worth more to me though is how confident I feel in the next album.  We haven't started working together on it but I think that we as a band agree that we want to take more time on both writing and recording it.  That combined with us really honing our dynamic and sound makes me think that we will put out our best record yet.  It's still early and maybe I'm getting ahead of myself, it's just that I feel very confident in this band and where we are.  I'm also very grateful to all our fans that have stuck with us through thick and thin.  It means so much to know that we have the support of so many people.  I feel like I will never be able to fully express how grateful I am for that.  Moving on to the winter break I have somethings to look forward to like a trip to Chicago with my girlfriends family and a Pierce the Veil show.  Not to mention Christmas and New Years.  I hope you guys have awesome holidays and thank you so much for your support!

I'm such a huge Mayday fan, it's unreal to me that you are in the same state as where I live. Where in Michigan are you from?
