Cabbage gets in the Christmas Spirit

Hey everyone, I hope you guys are enjoying your winter. If you haven't noticed by now we are trying to do a blog every week, so hopefully you keep coming back to read our ramblings. Currently I am home enjoying my break, getting ready for Christmas. I bought a house in August, and this will be my first Christmas in the house, so I have been trying pretty hard to get the house looking decorative. Below is a picture of me and Ashley's tree we set up. We picked it up at K-mart, so no, its not real, but it was cheap. You would be surprised what you can find there. You can see in the picture we have a few presents under the tree, a Santa Claus statue, and a little rocking horse. I have always put candy canes on the tree since I was young, it just doesn't feel like Christmas without them.

Growing up in Florida we never had a Christmas with snow, so now that I moved to Michigan I get to experience real winter weather. I decided to attach a picture of this winters first snow, its not coming down heavy yet, but in the next few weeks it will get much thicker. We have a creek in the back yard that will probably freeze over sometime soon, and being me, I will probably try to go ice skating on it. I will be sure to let you know how that goes.

While out shopping for presents, I decided to buy some lights for the house. This is a picture I took the other night of our lights, its nothing crazy yet, but I hope to add some yard ornaments and more lights before Christmas.

For the last picture I decided to show you me and Ashley's stockings, because whats Christmas without stockings?jeremy4

Hope you guys enjoyed this little blog!

    Peace, Love and Cabbage.
