Mayday Parade Updates

I absolutely loved the video. I had tried to find it before, but I couldn't. But now that I have seem it, I don't think it's as bad as they're saying it is. I liked the risk. I think it's so true, and it's relevant to the times we live in. It was an artistic risk, but I appreciate that. Yes, it's graphic, yes it raw. But that's how the world is, if not more so. It's so honest and real and it hides nothing. I love MP and this made me love the band even more. :)

that was one of the most intense and raw video's ive ever seen, if not saying the most. fucking epic-ly great. i loved it. i would of liked to see alil more of the band in the video, but thats not for me to judge. this video made me re-think the whole meaning of your song. Amazing. thats all i can say. amazing.

i thought is was one of the most real things i have seen lately hell it may be contriversal but what awesome artist hasn't done something contriversal at least it shows the reality and it doesn't try covering it up with something that people read in romance novels. it potrays the song perfectly so damn good job guys i'll always be a fan!!!!

whilst the video is quite graphic and confronting for many, i feel that it is the most honest and realistic video i have seen in a while. i love the way certain sounds have been incorporated into the song, i love that we see ups and downs. laughing and crying. the video seems plausible. with title of "kids in love" i anticipate much criticism that "love" may not exactly be the emotion portrayed between the couples featuring. i think they are absolutely in love with the thrill of being "young and invincible" and perhaps that is a stronger love. i really enjoyed the song and i related to it a lot. overall i believe i can't relate to the video as strongly because its the brutal truth and its as personal as it comes. so many memories are captured and even in a 3 month summer, i don't think many people could accomplish as much as our protagonists in this video have... for that reason, it is so very unique and i believe a massive congratulations are in order. well done guys. keep up the good work!!!

I hated it. And fumed about it for awhile then got over it. I know people act like that but I'd rather not see it in my favorite band's music video. I think the point could have been made w/o being so graphic which is what most of y'all call "artsy" and personally I think immature kids who have no clue about much of anything are the ones who act like that. It isn't at all what I think "Kids in Love" are like but w/e floats your happy little boat. I also know not everyone thinks the same as me and everyone has a right to hate or love it, I get that. Over all I wasn't impressed but sorely disappointed in the video. Please don't hate me, that is just my honest opinion. I still love MP and I still support them.

I personally don't like it, and I don't know anyone who has ever been in love and acted like that, BUT. I can see the artistic approach to it and I appreciate it. I wholly support this band and stand behind them-no video or song will make me lose that. And I'm glad it wasn't a cheeseball video. *That* would have made me a little mad. haha ^__^

I saw the video a couple of weeks ago and I really didn't like it. But then in got to thinking that the video is true to what "young love" really is. So I love it now!!!

its great! its shows the truth of what kids do when they are inlove. like example go out and party and etc instead of just having a cheesy love story in a music video cause thats not fun haha. its so real. i loveee itt :)

i finally saw it!! i really didnt have a problem with it, but i do understand why other people would.
