Mayday Parade has unveiled details of their upcoming headline tour. The dates – which celebrate the Tallahassee, Florida-based band’s recently released label debut, “ANYWHERE BUT HERE” – kick off on November 27th at Augusta, Georgia’s Sector 7G and then continue through mid-December. Joining Mayday Parade on the road will be There For Tomorrow, The Dangerous Summer, Vega Under Fire, and City Lights.

The tour will begin mere days after Mayday Parade wrap up their current role as co-headliners on Alternative Press’ “The Fall Ball ’09” tour, set to run through a November 15th finale at Pittsburgh’s Altar Bar. As is “AP Tour” tradition, Mayday Parade are featured along with their fellow “Fall Ball” tourmates – including The Academy Is…, Set Your Goals, The Secret Handshake, and You Me At Six – on the cover of the November issue of Alternative Press.

“ANYWHERE BUT HERE” made a stunning chart debut upon its release last month, entering the Billboard 200 at #31. The album is highlighted by the first single/video, “The Silence,” which is slated to impact Modern Rock radio outlets nationwide later this month. The track’s companion video clip recently premiered on MTV2, mtvU, and MTV.com.

Produced and mixed by David Bendeth (Paramore, All Time Low, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus), “ANYWHERE BUT HERE” has already begun to draw praise from the notoriously hard-to-please punk press. “Mayday Parade always had the instincts necessary for stardom,” noted AbsolutePunk.net, “and this record pushes them further in that direction.”

“ANYWHERE BUT HERE” follows Mayday Parade’s 2007 breakthrough debut, “A LESSON IN ROMANTICS,” which catapulted the young quintet to the forefront of modern punk-pop. Singles such as “When I Get Home, You’re So Dead,” “Jamie All Over,” and “Miserable At Best” melded heartfelt lyricism with irresistible energy, resulting in one of the most acclaimed punk releases in recent memory. Fueled by the band’s fervent fan following, the album made a top 10 debut on Billboard’s “Top Heatseekers” chart on its way to sales exceeding 100,000.

Like any rock band worth its salt, Mayday Parade has been a near-constant presence on the road since its formation in 2005. The band has toured as headliners; on multi-artist bills such as the “Compromising of Integrity, Morality, and Principles in Exchange for Money Tour” alongside All Time Low, The Maine, and Every Avenue; and on such festival roadshows as the Vans Warped Tour and the UK’s Give It A Name.
