Mayday Parade Updates

i'm a die hard mayday parade fan... so i don't think anything would make me dislike them.
i actually enjoyed the video (both the edited and unedited version)
yes, it was risky
and yes, it was a little over the top
but its something different, its something you wouldn't expect, and somehow (for me) it captures the 'invincible youth' that the band was wanting to be seen in the kids in love video.

Thank you for writing such an amazing song and putting out a video that matches the song meaning perfectly.

You guys are an inspiration.

Let's have more of the same kind. It's time to break out of old boundaries and get creative like this.

ive been a mayday fan for yeaaars and i have to admit that i was a little skeptical of this new album (no offense guys) until that video came out. i regained a wholeeee lot of respect for those guys after watching it. they wrote a song and interpreted it how they thot it should be. why would anyone else have the right to say that their interpretation is wrong? its their song. its their art. i love it. way to take a risk mayday!

The first time I saw the video, I had to pause it regularly, not because I couldn't stand watching it, but because I was afraid of what would happen next. The video came as a shock to me, but I realized that everything in it happens in reality. There are some people out there who say that it was trying to promote teen sex and drugs around America, but truthfully, I don't see that in the video at all. Sure, they do show a lot of it, but, if anything, it made me more aware of what life is like in high school and around that age. Besides, the video definitely didn't have a happy ending, and it shows that sex and drugs don't necessarily make you happy.

I really respect this video. At first when I saw it, I was a little shocked, but when I watched it again I really liked the fact that it was so realistic and didn't sugarcoat anything. I liked the fact that it was something different and not just a cheesey unrealistc love story.
Overall I like it and am glad that you pushed the limits :)

If you were a fan to start with, you wouldn't lose respect over something like this.
So, honestly, this video just weeded out the real fans from the fake ones.
I'm kinda glad, because now I can go to a show and not be trampled by a bunch of shrieking twelve year olds.
Can't wait to see you in Raleigh :) I have a surprise for you guys too.

I admit that the video is strong in terms of scenes that are displayed but not predictable so I'll respect I have for my favorite band. when I saw the video really impressed me but that does not mean that because mayday parade made a video where they show sex, drugs and alcohol I'm going to do what appears in the video! is really stupid ... things happen for the decisions you are taken not by the examples they see on video or movies, it must be authentic! I annoy people find it easy to criticize others just because they made a "mistake." I do not think that this video is a "mistake" is a way of expressing the ideas of a young band at the end of the day these things happen in life and are each person's problem!

Guys: You are awesome and I admire that you have that disposition to make videos "controversial" hahahaha I love you! :)♥

It's not my favorite video, but I haven't lost respect for them. They wanted to show something different and they did. It grew on me. I can't believe that there was more nudity in the first version. If they re-edit some clips for their younger fans that would be good I guess. I still support Mayday Parade.

I don't think you did something bad, I guess what you guys wanted to show is something that really happy, I guess Thats the thruth, that thinks happens on the real world. You just didn't care and showed it, I guess there are people that can't accept those thing the are carazy they don't know where the are.! I don't think the video should have been tooken down from youtube. Its creativity and creativity comes in all different shapes and sizes.No one should be able to take that away from you. If people dont like it they dont have to watch it. I loved how they took a risk and did something different.. I'm tired of seeing the same things from every other band out there it was sort of a breath of fresh air. Still love Mayday!!! :)
