Surgery
December 18, 2009
I wish I could say Home Sweet Home. I wish I could say how glad I am to be here. Unfortunately, I had to have surgery today on my left knee. It's been a long time coming. I guess the pain I was feeling accumulated from sports I played in high school and drumming. Who knows really. All I know is that I needed it and my body will thank me soon. I won't have to take an Aleve everyday and fuck up my stomach and my body anymore. This needed to happen. Now all I can do is relax and take it easy. These pain pills aren't helping the way I feel though. They're taking away all my pain, but they're not helping my mood.
I miss a lot of things right now. Mostly, the girl. I realized today that I finally found someone that easily changed my life for the better. She changed my perspective on everything. I just can't wait to fly to NYC with this bum knee on 12-26 and finally give her a kiss and hug and show her how much I love her. Sexy time ;)
Ps. my new favorite band is The Dangerous Summer. I've fallen hard for this band. I wish they got the respect they deserve. They're too good to just fall through the cracks.
Thank you guys for being so amazing to me and this band and everything that I may say or do. You truly are my inspiration. The fact that you're reading this right now blows my mind. The only thing I ever wanted to do in life was to be in a band and play music that I loved every night and because of you guys, I can do that every night. I owe my life to each of you. I don't know what else to say. Thank you. From the bottom of this old battered heart. This life you've given me is amazing.
