    So I met Mayday 3 days ago, and it already seems like a year ago btw. It sucks. Anyways, the point of this duscussion thingy is... I got Derek's signature after the show and I really want the bridge from Jamie All Over tattooed on me, SO along with that tattoo I was thinking I'm more than likely going to get Derek's signature with it.  I know, I know totally creepy BUT I love the idea and I just wanted to see if I was the only person in the world that is THIS obsessed with Mayday. lol Let ME KNOW!!! And if you have any awesome ideas for Mayday lyrics I should get tattooed send them my way!

ugh so i just noticed that i typed this entire response and i checked just now and clearly it didn't show up. lameness. anyways. xo: thanks for the comment. i already got the signature tatt. there's a pic of it on my page if you wanna see. it's kind of a rough picture but its the first one i took just to get it posted but i can assure you there will be more. anyway.. i met them at their may 4th show in greenvillse sc. i drove three hours to see them but it was more than worth it. it was awesome, they were awesome, and yeah. awesome is all i can say. lol about the other tattoo idea.. with the flock of birds i'm gonna get the break down from you be the anchor... tha part that says: tell me once again that you will love me til the death and should i die you swear that you will come for me.. that part is amazing and i think it would be really awesome to get with the flock of birds. anyways. you guys have been amazingly awesome with helping for the tatt ideas and it is much appreciated. i still have lots of canvas to cover on my body so if you think of any ohter sick tattoo ideas let me know. peace.love.&mayday.

im pretty sure everyone on this website agrees that that is the sickest best thing ever. i think you should go for it and your SO LUCKKYYYYY you got to meet them. HOWD YOU GET TO MEET THEM? i would get lyrics from either you be the anchor like the chorus of it because of how amazing that song is but its your choice. let us all know what you get!!! i am thinking about getting a tatt for them as well because they inspire me greatly. haha don't feel bad dude and awesome are awesome words dude. haha. anyways, i got the tattoo and it looks beautiful. Derek's signature is amazing. lol anyways, i'm about to upload a pic of it in a few minutes so be sure to check it out. and let me know what you end up getting for a tattoo whenever you decide on it. and yeah... i've met a day to remember and paramore and a lot of other awesome bands but i've never froze up and freaked out like i did when i met derek it was a first for me for sure. needless to say it was still and awesome experience and i wish i could just relive that entire day over and over haha. loves*

Dude, that's awesome!!!! I'm sure it's gonna turn out perfeeecccct... Well, yea, the whole umbrella thing is kinda cliche, but meh. It's only the thought so far :P I'm not planning on getting any tattoos till I get some parts of my life sorted out, so I still have LOTS of ime to plan :P And I'm pretty sure ANYone would get all starstruck with Derek :P Even I have to admit, I don't go crazy for famous people EVER, but to meet someone from the greatest band in history?! lol you guys are amazing. i love knowing that i'm not the only mayday obsessed fan in the world. everyone in my town is like oblivious to who mayday is, it sucks. anyway, i believe the exact words derek and i exchanged was me: "thank you!" derek: "you are very welcome" lol. that was the extent of the conversation. trust me i had so much to say but when he was in front of me i was like holy shit what do i say what do i do how does my hair look haha. i was freaking out. but yeah, i thanked him for his autograph like a retard and he welcomed me and that was about it. trust me i wish i could say that i had enough balls that night to have an in depth conversation with him about how amazing he is but i was totally star struck. lol i know i'm a nerd. i hope you guys get the chance to meet him it's for sure an experience i will never ever forget. OH and I'm getting my tattoo TONIGHT of derek's signature. I had to work later than expected last night so i didnt have time but be on the look out on my page tomorrow for a pic. love you guys!

haha thanks lizette. I'm getting the signature today, I'll be sure to post a pic so you can see it. and I'm sure in the next week or two I'll get th flock of birds with the lyric and I'll post a pic of that as well. And La Volpe: I thought about getting the umbrella man or even their logo but it seems as though so many people have that already and I want something unique that fits me and also represents mayday because of their importance in my life. Trust me I think the umbrella man is awesome, so don't get me wrong. But i put a lot of thought in to my tattoos before getting them because I want something that's just going to be for me, and no one else. So i don't want to get something that I know other people have already. If you really want the umbrella man though, you should think about a way to add your own custom touch to it to change it up a bit from other people's. Just a suggestion. And you rock for loving Mayday as much as I do! haha you guys are great. peace & love!

Hahaha, dude, you're awesome :P Well, I'm planning on getting a tattoo with the umbrella guy and Mayday's logo on my lower back, and also, the other various tattoos that I'm going to get all have some kind of connection, or can be connected to something Mayday Parade related :P. (though I hadn't planned it that way, it just kinda.... well, fell together) I'm super jealous of you btw, I want to see/meet them soooooooooooooooo freaking BAD!!!!!

I think your my new best friend xlizette! haha I decided that I'm just gonna get Derek's signature on it's own because the size of it is big enough to be a tattoo by itself and I don't want to take away from it and have to have it resized and all that good stuff you know? so that's what I've decided with that. BUT I will tell you that I am planning another tattoo lol. and i'm thinking about getting a flock of birds going up my back like half way and ending at the base of my neck behind my ear and with the flock of birds I'm thinking about getting "does this deafening silence mean nothing to no one but me". what do you think about that idea? if you can think of an awesome mayday lyric that would go with the flock of birds let me know because we seem to love the exact same mayday songs. not that all of them arent amazing. lol anyways, thanks for your input! and i'm happy to know that someone is as obsessed as I am!!

first of all your effin lucky you met mayday!I hear a lot of bands and they are my all time favorite!You are not the only one..i'm super obssesed with them.I love your idea of a tattoo.Well I think it would be cool to get a part from miserable at best('cause it's like my favorite song by them and best song ever writtne well besides terrible things) and then have the red umbrella next to the part.Or maybe you can put "...So don't fall in love there's just to much to risk..."that is from terrible things and it's my favorite part from the song and means a lot. Yeah I met them. They all seem really amazing. I know a lot of bands I've seen or met before never really have much to do with their fans and they automatically assume that they are better than everyone when they reach a certain level or fame. But not Mayday. They are for sure as sweet as everyone makes them out to be, if not more so. Anyways, I don't think I will ever stop loving Mayday. In my eyes, they can do no wrong lol. And if they ever stop making music it won't mean that I will stop loving them. So either way I feel like Mayday will always be a huge part of my life no matter what happens. And even as the years go by and I may not be as obsessed with them as I am now it will still be a memomry that I won't ever forget because their music has helped me recover from some extreme turning points in my life. So its not really just about getting a tattoo because I'm a crazed fan. It will represent so much more than just Mayday themselves. It will remind me of all the tears I've shed listening to them or the excitement I had whenever I saw them or they came out with something new or the inspiration I have to do bigger and better things with my life because of them. So I think no matter what, I won't ever regret the tattoo itself. But I do understand your concern, I have a lot of tattoos as it is though and each and everyone of them has meaning to me. So trust me, i'm not one of those people that go tattoo crazy and just get one to say I did or because I think its cool. Sorry for the novel lol. This is how it is when I start talking about Mayday. Lol
