I was just reading Mayday's bio on Fearless Records and happened to notice that theres no mention at all to Jason!

"The band formed in the winter of 2005 when two local Tallahassee bands, Defining Moment and Kid Named Chicago, decided to merge. The still unnamed collection of Derek Sanders, Alex Garcia, Jake Bundrick, Jeremy Lenzo, and Brooks Betts..."

I had to read that multiple times and i just couldn't believe that there wasn't reference to him leaving or ever being part of the band! Does that not disturb anyone else?

He contributed so much to Tales told By Dead Friends and A Lesson In Romantics and yet not even a sentence saying he was once in the band but left! >:(

Thats kind of the reason that Jason left, they never gave him credit where he deserved it. now they just pretend that he was never even in the band, which is really sad, because he was such a major part of their early success. Luckily, he is doing great with Go Radio now, and i can see them going far.

Unfortunately, after Jason left, the band got in a habit of pretending he never existed. In interviews, they would even claim authorship of songs he wrote. Luckily, though, it seems they've stopped doing that. In more recent videos, Derek says that Jason wrote Miserable at Best and I've even seen him talk a little bit about Katy. If you go to YouTube and look up "Thanks for Nothing" by Go Radio, you'll hear a song that many people think expresses Jason's feelings toward Derek. It's sad how such a great band got split apart like this.
