I have been a huge fan of Mayday Parade since I picked up Tales Told by Dead Friends in 2006. The band has always been incredible. Derek, Jake, Jeremy, Alex, Brooks and Jason are all amazing musicians.
I don't know the details of why Jason left the band after A Lesson in Romantics, but I understand it may have been necessary. Go Radio has a great sound and so does the new Mayday Album. Go Radio's work showcases Jason's talent and Mayday's new album is a tribute to a group of guys who truly know how to work together and create great music. Still, I can't help but wonder what it would be like to hear the original six together again.
I realize that this is a lot to ask and you hear this all the time, but please consider sharing some time together in the studio. Even if it's only for a single, the results could be unbelievable.
I can't complain because I bought two new great full length albums this year. Keep up the great work and I'll keep looking forward to each new album. Even if it's not together, Jason Lancaster and Mayday Parade rule. The proof will always remain in Tales Told by Dead Friends and A Lesson in Romantics.
