    MAYDAY PARADE 'get up'

    hey guys,

    we can all agree that mayday parade it awesome. i'm a new user and just found out about mayday parade this year. 

    im doing this assignment on a fav choosen band. (obviously mayday parade)

    and i'm doing it on 'get up' cause i recken it's one of the most enthusiastic.

    now i need an analysis on get up.like on what the lyrics mean...

    i think the places represent girls and he's talking about moving on  or something like that. 

    but what do i know.. i'm only 13...

    i really need help cause i reckon this song is all about secret messages and representations and all that.

Hahha seems like a pretty cool assignmnet. My interpretation of it, is they're talking about all the cities they've visited like on tour or something, but I've only heard it a few times so I'm not sure.

If you go to absolutepunk.net and search for mayday parade and read through the chat they did there, i'm pretty Derek mentioned that Jersey was in relation to a girl (which we already knew) but I think it's a double play. I think it's also those cities he talks about in a crowd of each city sense. The song is really just meant to be a live song. About seeing a band live. Good luck!
