I know this is the Mayday Parade site and all, but I personally think that Go Radio is better, what about you?

honestly, i think mayday parade is better just because theyre the type of music i listen to and that i think that go radio is just a softer version of mayday parade. lancaster was great in mayday, not so much in go radio

Mayday Parade is better... But Go Radio is amazing too Everyone is saying that now that Jason is out of Mayday Parade it worse and Go Radio is better, I know that Jason did write some amazing songs and all, but he's in a new band now so get over it, he's not coming back. Mayday Parade still writes really good songs without him.

Maybe i'd choose MP, but NOW we're talking abt 2 different bands. Yeah, maybe my favourite song by MP is from DTBDF, but u people have to noticed that Mayday it is NOT the same band we first knew, and it is NOT either a bad thing! both band have power to grow and they're already AWESOME! I really really love both bands; I dont think anything will ever be like the old MP, but i do believe MP and GR are gonna be bigger in their own way; Mayday is not all about Jake and Go Radio is not all about Jason, there's still the whole band, the awesome musicians that're there!

Why???? Who says we have to choose? Both bands make GREAT music!!!!! I have enough money and enough room on my mp3 to buy music from both bands! I enjoy listening to both bands! Love the older MP music with Jason! Love Jason's stuff from Kid Named Chicago! Love New MP stuff, too! Amber Lynn, Anywhere But Here, The Silence, The Memory = AWESOME! (Oh, I also like the stuff from Defining Moments, too...Derek's earlier music). I hope the guys in both bands are above this "choosing sides" nonsense! They both have a huge fan in me!!!

Totally Mayday Parade. Although I prefered the first two albums of Mayday Parade than compared to Anywhere But Here. I'd still go for MP. Hey every band has their ups and down. Plus this is a MP website xD! Thanks to Jay Sean Fenris to explain, with patience, all that to Kara =].

I'm on team Go Radio. I literally adore all of their songs and i have been stuck on them for about a year now. And to be completely honest, i loved Mayday Parade more when Jason was still in it. Although i have fell in love with some of their songs that they made afterwards. I'm a huge fan of both the band and see Go Radio as an extension of Mayday's talent. Mayday's last album was great but i hope their new album will be a step up

Ugh, it's astounding to see that there are still people so blindly defending Jason after all this time. There are many things wrong with saying that he wrote everything from ALIR and back. One thing is Jason didn't write all the lyrics, One Man Drinking Games and 3 Cheers for 5 Years were co-written by Jake about his girlfriend. Champagne and You Be The Anchor (which is my favorite song) were both written by Derek. And even "if" he did write all the lyrics, people act like he wrote every instrument in every song without the others participating whatsoever - which is absurd to assume - therefore, the band has the right to play the songs, even if the lyrics were by Jason. Members leave bands all the time, is that going to stop the band from playing the songs that the member wrote? No, look at Panic! At The Disco: they still play some of their old songs even though Ross left. Honestly Kara, you should do yourself a favor and not waste your time here. If you haven't noticed, Jason sang Miserable At Best with them last year. Maybe all the tension has yet to dissolve, but they're willing to hang with each other and tour together. And if Jason doesn't have a such a big problem with them singing the songs with lyrics he wrote, why should anyone else - in this case, his and the band's opinion matters most.

Well then you shouldn't be on this website...people can be fans of both. The music is copyrighted to THE band...not the person. Their new single is fantastic, and I'm sure their new record will be too. There's no need to bring up this question and then say "well I think Go Radio is better" because then you don't really belong on this site to begin with.

They are both good but Mayday Parade is the favourite . and I agree with Kaylyn. get over it. Jason was amazing but he isn't in the band anymore. So enjoy the music .

I love them both. Honestly, I think it's time for people to get over the fact that Jason isn't in the band anymore. How long has it been?! Instead of comparing them, I wish people could just see them as two different bands and listen to what they like without the association.

Notice how all the songs that you all love were from Tales Told by Dead Friends and A Lesson in Romantics?! Yah, you should all thank Jason Lancaster for that.. I think it's sick that this band would continue to try and sing fan favorites wrote by Lancaster (which he did not get proper credit for) about his ex wife.. Wake up people, Mayday lost what made them great. Do yourself a favor, listen to Go Radio.. You can then hear Jason Lancaster sing the songs HE actually wrote. Some people have a little honor, wonder what the members of Mayday would think if Go Radio sang a few songs of 'theirs'.. HA.

GO RADIO!! ATLEAST THEY DON'T SING OTHER PEOPLE'S LYRICS/SONGS!

I personally think that Mayday Parade is better than Go Radio. I loved old Mayday Parade with Jason, but I really love Mayday Parade now. Go Radio has amazing lyrics I just don't really like their melodies. They are good but I prefer Mayday Parade.

i think mayday is better but i love go radio

I know you might have heard this before, but Old Mayday Parade is a step above the two bands right not. It will probably never be matched either. But right now, Go Radio is just made a great album. I just want to see if Mayday's album in the fall can keep up to speed with Lucky Street. I love the bands so much. I hope this new album is more like A Lesson In Romantics. But we can only question how that is possible without the beautiful melodies created by Derrick and Jason's voices. We shall see ;)

Lol, calm down...

Then go post this on the Go Radio website. There is plenty of this ridiculous drama on other sites. Please don't bring it here.
