    Which song was the first of Mayday you listened to ?

    I'd really like to know which one you listened first and why you kept listening to them. My first song was " I'd hate to be you when people find out what this song is about". I just thouhgt WOW the title is soo amazing and just listened and fell in love with this song :) .

I was playing tap tap revenge and I absolutely loved when I get home your so dead(even though I could not play it), and I didn't look it up for the longest time, idk why, but when I finally did, like a year later I fell in love with mayday and bought the entire lesson in romantics album:3 okaay done ranting ^-^

One day i snatched my homegirls ipod and put it on random shuffle and "miserable at best" came on. needless to say that song changed my life forever.

The first song I heard was Black Cat, back in the day on myspace. Then I heard a few more songs but I never got that into them because I was too into another band at the time, then one day I went to a The Maine concert and Mayday Parade was there also, Black Cat came on and I was like "heyyy, I know this song, this is amazing these guys are amazing". Then I came home and downloaded all of their music and fell in love with it. :)

The thing about songs that really catches my attention is the collaboration of all the different parts of the music--the vocals, guitar, drums, piano, etc--that's what really reals me in. the first song I listened to was "Jamie All Over" and the opening was an amazing slam on the guitar partnered with bright and bold vocals. Boom! the intro got me and since then, I've always remained a faithful fan.

It was summertime, and i woke up randomly around 4 am, and i glanced over at my tv which was playing mtv. The music video for Jamie All Over was playing, and I was instantly entranced! I got up, blurry eyed, and wrote down the song and the artist name, and in the morning i looked them up. :) 3 years later, im still a dedicated fan.

Miserable At Best. I was obsessed with rap music at the time; and I was so done with that meaningless shit, so I just started looking up bands and I found Mayday :)

The first one I heard was Anywhere but here. I was randomly checking out new music on spotify, and then I found Mayday and ABH was the most popular song so I listened to it, and loved it! Then I discovered the earlier albums and fell truly in love. Found Miserable at best just after a breakup, so it was like.. yes.

My first Mayday Parade song was The Last Something That Meant Anything. It was the most beautiful song I've ever heard and I couldn't help but want to hear more of the musical genius' behind that song. Every time I hear a song that relates to me it just helps soo much and it's basically like these guys are reading my diary and helping me out with all my problems
