But it's true though, we can all sense the difference in the new albums, and the digs at Lancaster. The music has changed a lot, and i think it's bad that no one in Mayday Parade says it how it really is; so many fans look up to them, but should they really be looked up to? The Heart of the band, Lancaster left and took the whole meaning of the band with him, if you listen to Go Radio you will hear this. I'm sorry about breaking this to you, and i know it's not really my place to say, but you wanted to know and so i told you. I'm just sorry you had to ask, honesty is dead these days, be your own hero.

Jason Lancaster is the former guitarist, vocalist and lyricist, who is now in Go Radio. He recorded the first debut and "A Lesson in Romantics" with them and then he left for "personal reasons", I'm not going to slate anyone, because they're still a band and he's still him and they're all still amazing and i have no right to judge but er...

"...You guys should know things about this band that I can't tell you, but believe like I do that they are all good at heart, just a little misguided at times...Mayday was a big part of my life but ask them next time who wrote the album, I bet my name doesn't come up. Or why I am off the bio completely, or maybe how I am denied credit in the album for writing anything. Or maybe ask Derek how he can take credit in so many publications and reply to me "I understand if this means we can't be friends anymore" when I asked him about it. Ask Jake how easy it was to write me off when I had no more chorus' for him. We had been playing together for 6 years. I'm not bitter anymore and all will heal with time, but know the bands you love, and know they aren't always what they seem."
